Applications to Swedish universities are centrally managed via the portal www.universityadmissions.se.
Step 1: Choose Your Program Browse programs at www.studyinsweden.se or university websites.
Step 2: Check Requirements You will typically need:
Completed application form via the portal
Passport or national ID
Academic certificates and transcripts
Proof of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
Motivation letter and CV (for some programs)
Step 3: Submit Application Applications usually open in mid-October and close in mid-January for the autumn intake. Some universities may offer additional intakes.
Step 4: Pay the Application Fee Non-EU/EEA applicants must pay an application fee (approximately SEK 900).
Step 5: Receive Notification of Selection Once assessed, universities will notify applicants of their admission decisions.
